Norwescon is run entirely by volunteers. Each year, over 250 people generously give of their time in order to make Norwescon the best it can be for its members and participants.
Volunteers are the backbone of the convention, from those of us who donate our time year round to those of you who lend a much needed helping hand for a couple of hours at the convention. Whether that is watching the doors at the Masquerade, helping out at the Registration Desk, or manning the Cloak Closet, we need that help.
We’re always looking for more willing volunteers! We keep updating our list of open positions, and whether or not you see something there that grabs your eye, we can always use more help. Just send a note to Volunteers through our contact page and join the Norwescon family!
Norwescon 46 Volunteer Appreciation Picnic
Our annual summer volunteer appreciation picnic will be held Sunday, July 28, at Steel Lake Park in Federal Way, WA. Did you volunteer at Norwescon 46 or any time in the past? Are you interested in volunteering at Norwescon 47? Come enjoy a day by the lake with other Norwescon volunteers!

Planning meeting dates and times will be posted later in the summer, after we’ve all had a chance to rest and regroup and the new Exec team has met to set the meeting dates.
If you’re interested in helping with Norwescon, we welcome and encourage you to let us know using the position interest form on this page. Our chair will collect all submissions over the summer, pass them on to the NWC47 Executive Team once they’re selected, and you should hear from us in the late summer or early fall!
