I guess Pint and Pie is also with the name of Holy Smokes Brewing. This brewery located where a couple other breweries were prior, Mother Fern and Pacific Brewing and Malting.
I've had beers here a couple of times and I must say I liked the second time better. I liked the Oktoberfest beer that I had compared to some of the lagers offered here.
Food here is super good as they specialize towards savory pot pies and sweet pies as well as macaroni and cheese.
Steve got a delicious vegetable pot pie with a excellent arugula salad. I got the Caprese Macaroni and Cheese which was out of this world. So good!
The sweet pies are quite good as well as I had a Key Lime slice of pie and Steve had a stout pie. Both pies were awesome!
If you don't want to come here for the beer then definitely come here for the food.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mrs J P.Tacoma, WA01297Aug 19, 2023
Food is bad, tastes like a Swanson's Tv Dinner lol not a lot to choose from in food (see pic) and certainly not a lot to choose from in drinks or sodas.
Service lacks.
We were specific with our orders, 2 beef pot pies and 1 chicken pot pie. So the gal royally screwed up our orders, she either ignored our orders or did what she wanted lol she instead brings out a beef and chicken pot pies and a shepherds pie lol NOT WHAT WE ORDERED!!
So not going back ever!! BewareHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chad F.Tacoma, WA01214Aug 18, 2023
No idea how this place has good reviews. We had the worst experience. They literally use a $240 Avantco food warmer to cook their frozen food. The service is terrible, the food was awful. We took one bite, and just left the food and our drinks sitting on the bar. This place should be embarrassed to "act like a business"

I've been following Pint and Pie on Instagram for awhile and always wanted to try it so I was really excited when I finally was able to.
We came on a Sunday right at opening, after what was one of their busiest weekends.
I was slightly disappointed to be honest because they were out of basically everything. We got the last pies they had and even the last Diet soda. We took the only pies they had which was a beef and a veggie. Both of the pies were fantastic! The crust was great and they had an awesome flavor. I was disappointed to find out that the pies are not actually made by them on site, but I guess bought and shipped in.
We wanted to try cider, but alas the prior group from the night before unfortunately drank everything they had.
Overall we had a good experience but it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.
I am looking forward to going back again to try some cider and their chicken pie! I will re-review them then!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 14, 2022
I was really excited to go here for National Pie Day (3/14) expecting the place to go all out to celebrate. Unfortunately the place was quite barren, not only with celebration but also with people. With only a few tables filled, we expected fast, reliable service. Without a doubt we received the opposite. We sat at our table for nearly 20 minutes before we were able to have our order taken, and then waited over 45 minutes to check out after the food was delivered.
We ordered the veggie pot pie and the Mac/cheese pie. The veggie was actually delicious with fresh salad, however the Mac/cheese pie was just Mac and cheese in a smaller container, burnt and dry. We had to go up to the counter to order sweet pies, which came out frozen.
I was disappointed with the poor service, lack of flavor and frozen apple pie. At first glance this place seems to have all the ingredients, though sadly they've come together to create a flat, mediocre, and in this case, frozen experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Chris S.Portland, OR2471Aug 30, 2023
We brought our doggies in for a few pints and slammed a chicken pie while there! Black lager is really tasty, as is the pale ale! Love the old wooden beams and friendly service!

The beer was OK, but with "pie" in the name, you'd think the "pie" would be good. Not so much. Apparently this is a UK thing. Fine, it seems like a match made in heaven, but please give your chicken and beef pies actual flavor. I'm assuming they are pre-made and kept in a refrigerator until zapped in the microwave? OK, but really, make them better. Maybe serve them with a side of hot sauce, peppers, or anything to make them complement the beer selections. The dessert apple pie was equally lifeless and uninspired. Go for the beer, but bring your own Marie Callender frozen pot pie if you want something with flavor.

COVID review:
I came here with my dog and was able to sit in their back outside patio, which is very large. The beer they had on tap were all from Northwest Brewing, which is definitely decent beer. For food, I ordered their turkey mushroom pot pie and enjoyed the creamy mushroom sauce in the pie. My fiancé ordered their mac&cheese pot pie. His dish wasn't really a pot pie, as it was basically mac&cheese with a puff pastry placed on top. Nonetheless, both of us enjoyed our meals here. I do like that they serve a variety of sweet and savory pies. The workers here were also very friendly and reviewing cleaning protocols with staff when we arrived, so that made me feel safe.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Warren C.Tacoma, WA2351Nov 28, 2022
Ten taps, nine beers brewed in-house and an outside brewed cider. The cider as of this posting is a spiced apple that's like drinking a pie. I thought it was fine in a tasting glass to sip on, but it would have been a bit much in a pint. (your mileage may very) I had a very drinkable IPA and sampled a couple of other taps. They have a Black Lager that's very smooth. The pie in question was very tasty. Beef, vegetables, potatoes, and sauce in a puff pastry crust. There's a nice selection of sweet pies as well, but I didn't sample them this trip. I strongly recommend.
