Canyon Pizza

Decided to try based on a news article on this place. Sounded good, support local small businesses. Gave it a try tonight. Was not greeted, checked out the menu. Pizza guy just looked at me didn't offer help. Decided order and went to register to place order. Had to ask for my receipt was told be 30 min. Went to car and waited.
1 min till order was to be done. Went in and waited a couple minutes and got my pizza. Take it home and crack it open. I got the extra large and could not taste the meat at all. Sausage, pepperoni and ground beef. Lots of cheese. I could only taste the onions and black olives. Sauce was ok and crust was ok. Overall it was ok. I was not really pleased with my service and my product. I would not partake again in this pizza. I've had much better and much worse. Not worth the money to me and not a fan myself.

I don't get the hype. It isn't anything special. I suppose the people raving about it are the ones who don't really know "great pizza". Plus it was $9 for 2 slices!!!

Not even close to what it used to be under previous ownership. I had a piece today and the crust was chewy and undercooked with only 3 pieces of pepperoni on the entire slice. Just chatting with the employee I said there used to be a lot more toppings before. He said " it has 3 pieces, what more do you want."
I can't recommend pizza here anymore under this ownership. Skimping on topping. It's not even close to the same

I swear the pizza here is the best around. The workers are always so friendly and the best part only a min drive !!!

I gotta be honest. I love gas station cuisine. It's gotta be on point or everyone in town will know it. Super fast, great portion size and in and out quickly. I can't wait to actually buy a full size pie from there and try out a specialty pizza. Very unsuspecting location for quick and easy lunch. Go try it out!

Overrated and way overpriced! I had heard lots of good things about this place and I live very close, but the pizza lacked flavor and seemed like it came from a box.

I dont normally leave reviews but often a tell tale sign of a good pizza place is their long wait time. Trust me when i say Im happy to wait 30, 60 or 90 minutes for my pizza. Their pizza is that good. My best description is this pizza is like the little brother of a NY pizza.

This pizza lives up to their slogan of Best Pizza in Town. This is no "gourmet" pizza, this is humble pizza made with passion.

I luv this place! Believe it or not! It's a little gas station with the best pizza around! Oh my! Very good prices! So if your tired of the old yuk delivery pizzas! Swing by canyon Grocery! You won't be disappointed! Delicious!

Damn this pizza rules! I'm kind of a pizza snob and most pizza chains suck. There is barely any good pizza in Puyallup besides Wicked Pie. Totally surprised by the perfectly crispy and thin crust. Think of a Costco Slice but less heavy and greasy. I never would have guessed I could find a New York-style pizza in Puyallup. This is my new jam
