Mike and Janice are amazing. The genuinely care about the neighborhood and their patrons. Sandwiches are bomb and loaded!

I come here daily for lunch. Janice makes really great sandwiches for a good price. I recommend the California Club!

It's a fairly well stocked place to get some hydration, and convenience foods. I think if you have a need for snacks, this is a very good place for that.

The staff (man I met working the counter) seemed friendly, and was keen on service. I was in, got my stuff, paid, and was out. No hassle, and they have just about anything drinkable allowed by law there, soda, beer, wine.. chips and other stuff.

The man behind the counter is pretty great. The clientele isn't the greatest

This place is a life saver living downtown. They have a pretty decent beer and wine selection plus chips, candy bars etc. You can also find things like tin foil and paper towels and frozen things like pizzas and burritos. Last minute items for recipes in a pinch and during the day they make sandwiches. Sure, some items you're paying more than you would at Target or something but you have a Mom & Pop store saving you from the food desert downtown turns into after 6 and friendly people that always say hello.

Market Grocery is always open, seriously - they keep extremely long hours! They offer a decent selection of stuff, especially for a corner store. I have spent a ton of money here, wish I could say on festive stuff, but nope - just snacks and water and fun sundry stuff. The owners are really nice!

The only bummer is that if you spend less than $7 (what happened to $5?) when paying with a debit/credit card, they will charge you 50 cents - not a super big deal, but still.... if you don't carry cash, like most of us, you have to factor that in.

Market Grocery is open kind of late (10pm on weeknights), sells wine & beer, and carries various and sundry other products that will see you through until morning, when other things are open. What's not to like about that? I like it because I work downtown, and I can grab something to snack on there. They have a small deli, the man who owns the shop is really nice, and it's easy to find. The only bummer is that if you spend less than $7 (what happened to $5?) when paying with a debit/credit card, they will charge you 50 cents--not the end of the world.

For what this is, it is great. Open late, has the little things you need, medicine, snacks, basic food items. They even have some pretty decent sized salads and fresh made daily sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve.
